Moving to Spain is a life changing experience, as is putting your children into the Spanish Education System and charging yourself with learning Spanish to keep up with it all.

Within the Municipality of Alcalá La Real the Spanish Red Cross of Jaen have stepped in to provide assistance to all foreign children in or about to enter the Spanish Education System, in collaboration with the Council of Education of the Junta Andalucía . We are hoping that they will extend there area of coverage to include the rest of Jaen

Working with Spanish Red Cross of Jaen , are Melanie England, Words of Wisdom English Book Shop and all the team at Alcalá Life who will provide information and act as a pick-up and drop off point for them where necessary. The Red Cross have also asked us to provide an online feedback questionnaire, at certain times of the year, for children already in the system, to improve the school support networks. So please check back every now and again for updates.
