TEACHINGS OF GENERAL REGIME

Key stages and ages:

1. Nursery education

• Between the 0 and 6 years of age. It is not obligatory even if is highly advisable.

2. Primary education

• Between the 6 to the 12 years of age. Obligatory and free.

3. Obligatory Secondary Education

• Between the 12 and 16 years of age. Obligatory and free.

• The pupil that completes the Obligatory Secondary Education will receive the Title from having Graduated in Secondary Education. With this title they will be able to consent to the High school, to the specific Vocational training of Half Grade and the labor world.

• The student that does not obtain the Title of having Graduated in Secondary Education can consent to the Programs of Social Guarantee

4. High School

• Between the 16 and 18 years of age. Not obligatory, highly advisable

• You should access with the title graduated in Secondary Education

• You can study in day regime, night and at distance

• Offers to the pupil four modalities: Technological, Sciences of the Nature and of the Health, Humanities and Social Sciences, Arts

• Overcome all the matters a title is obtained , such a advantage labour we permit:

1. Formative Cycles of Superior Grade
2. University Studies, by means of the suppuration 

 5. Specific Vocational training

i. Formative Cycles of Half Grade: Starting from 16 years

ii. Formative Cycles of Superior Grade: Starting from 18 years

It is organized in Formative Cycles of Half Grade and Superior Grade

• The Formative Cycles of Half Grade are studied when concluding the Obligatory Secondary Education.

• The Formative Cycles of Superior Grade are studied after the High School

• The formation isn’t obligatory

• It is imparted free in the Specific Centre’s of Vocational training, in the Institutes of Secondary Education (IES) and in the Concerted Private Centers. It is not free imparted in the Private Centre’s Concerted

6. University education

• Starting from 18 years:

i. First Cycle: Diplomatura

ii. Second cycle: Degree

iii. Third cycle: Doctorate

7. Programs of social guarantee

• They are dedicated to the pupil that doesn’t reach the objectives of the Obligatory Secondary Education.

• They are specific programs that seek to provide to the pupil a basic formation and professional that it allows them to incorporate to the labor life or to continue their studies.

• They are imparted in educational centers and they can also be carried out through the City councils and other authorized Entities.

• They are gratuitous for the students.

Each academic course starts in September and concludes in the month of June. Children will start their corresponding courses bearing in mind their age. Primary Education and Obligatory Secondary Education are considered as the minimum basic education students should have. These teachings are obligatory and free. The average age scope is 6 to 16 years old.

The teachings will be adapted to the characteristics of the student with special needs. Daily attendance is obligatory and will be controlled. Attendance being a prerequisite for mid-term assessment.
