In order for your child to enrol in a school, you will have to fill in an application form, in which you will specify their choice. As soon as you have received confirmation that your choice has been granted you will need to register your child in the school by filling out the enrolment documents.

Applying

The application time embraces the whole month of March. Schools will supply the application forms.

Enrolling

Enrolling period is in June. The application must be carried out in the school to which the child has been admitted.

Documents needed for enrolment

The application templates are available at the education council offices.

• Home address or work address

• Annual family rent o ingress

• Proof of disability, the child who will be enrolling, either of his parents or any of his brothers o sisters

• Large family and single parent families. (Large family is more than 3 children’s)

• Academic file.

The students that want to incorporate to a school outside of the ordinary enrolment period should go to the center where want to register to request a post. The permanent enrolment commission will look into the possibility of the child enrolling in the school or other school in the nearly area.

School calendar

The school year starts in September and it finishes in June. There are a good number of national and local public holidays as well as three holiday breaks. Christmas: (End December beginning of January)
