Scholarships and Assistance

It is important that you know that scholarships and help for the study exists. Every year, so the Ministry of Education and Science, as the Consejería of education of the Meeting of Andalusia summon scholarships and help, dedicated to the students that are in the circumstances that are indicated:

You grant a scholarship and helps to the study of general character. Students of High school, of Formative Cycles of middle and Superior Grade, etc.

Helps for the students of Pre School (Infantile) Education. Dedicated to the students of 3, 4 and 5 years, not registered in centers of pre-school (Infantile) Education sustained with public funds and that they are properly authorized. For their award one will keep in mind the family rent.

Helps for the acquisition of text books and didactic material. They will be able to the students registered in sustained centers with public funds, in any course of Primary Education or Obligatory Secondary Education. For their award one will keep in mind the family rent.

Helps for the students with special educational necessities, associated to a psychic disability physics, sensorial or significant motor dysfunctions

Serious of behavioral disabilities, of those that is the necessity to receive special education.

Help with school transport. For students of obligatory education that move to another town, different from that in which they have their family home and they cannot make use of the school transport hired by the Consejería of Education of the Junta de Andalucía.

Help towards the cost of school dinners.

School insurance. The pupil that studies at High School, Formative Cycles of Half and Superior Grade, Programs of Social Guarantee, etc. is affiliated to the School Insurance that covers benefits in the event of family distress, accident school and certain specialized medical attendances. The payment of the inscription will be made in the educational Centers in the moment to formalize the registration.

The information, requirements and dates for these can be obtained in the centers of social services of the City councils, in the educational centers, in the office of information to the Immigrant or in the Consejería of Education.
