If your child has studied in your country, it is not necessary that they study the same studies in Spain again. They only have to accredit them and to authenticate them that mean in Spain of the validity of the studies that has carried out.

The approval of applications and the authentication of studies done by foreign non university students will be completed by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport and they will be presented in one of the following places:

• Delegation of the Government in Andalusia, Area of High Inspection of Education

• Sub delegations of the Government in the different counties

• Address Provincial of Education

• Consejería of Education and Culture

• Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport, General sub delegation of Approvals and Authentications

The applications should be accompanied by the following documentation:

• Titles or diplomas whose authentication is requested and the academic certifications of the achieved courses with dates, details and qualifications that are given in the original title or diploma. This documentation should be appropriately legalized, according to the established agreements with each country

• Accreditation of the nationality of the solicitor

• Proof of the payment of rates ( doesn’t for 4º of ESO)

Whilst the authentication is being processed, it is possible to carry out a conditional registration with the educational center.

The organization who is processing the authentication will supply an Interim Inscription Document Number, referring to the application being authenticated.

This can then be verified by the Education Centre where the registration is being made.

On completion of the authentication, the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport the corresponding Credential of Approval or Authentication will present the authenticated documents at the Center where the student is registered.
